In preparation for our two big paving days next week, we have initiated repair of the collaterally damaged concrete in two specific areas: First is the destroyed area of curb and gutter in front of 2048 N. Cambridge Circle (Benito & Irma) and then the curb and gutter between 1967 and 2005 N. Cambridge Circle. These areas were damaged by our poorly designed sprinkler system which, according to Don Berry Construction, was allowing significant amounts of water to drain to the lowest sprinkler heads which, of course, are right next to the street. We all have seen the puddles of water. If you want to see the impact of this, just have a look at the lamppost between 1967 and 2005 N. Cambridge Circle. It leans Southward at a noticeable angle.
A Special Note: We will need to be certain on trash pick-up this Thursday, that the cans are placed well into the street to keep the trash trucks from getting too close to the fresh concrete.
